U.S. News & World Report
Harding is ranked in the annual “Best Colleges” issue as one of the best regional universities in the South along with such prestigious institutions as James Madison University, Loyola University and The Citadel. Harding has been ranked for 14 consecutive years. Harding was the highest-ranked Arkansas school in the category and was also named a “best value.”
The Princeton Review
The Princeton Review includes Harding in its top 146 listing of schools receiving the Best Southeastern College designation.
National Merit Scholars
Harding attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state. This year 16 freshmen join upperclassmen Scholars for a total enrollment of 53. Finalists are granted a full-tuition scholarship and can compete for a generous stipend that can be used toward additional educational expenses.
Service
In 2008, Harding was named once again to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Last year an estimated 3,344 students, faculty and staff contributed more than 66,750 hours of service.Average Freshman ACT
Harding’s average ACT test score for freshmen is 23.63, while the national and state ACT means are 20.9 and 20.4, respectively. More than 130 freshmen scored 30 or higher on the ACT.
